Terms and Conditions for Use of Muttnall Green Dog Field

By booking and using Muttnall Green Dog Field ("the Field"), you agree to the following terms and conditions. Failure to comply with these terms may result in a permanent ban from the field.

Capacity Limits

A maximum of 10 dogs and 8 people (including children) are permitted per booking.

  1. In accordance with council regulations, the dog exercise field is permitted for the exercising of dogs only, and must not be used for dog training classes, dog agility classes, or similar activities.

  2. Under no circumstances may more than 10 dogs be present on the field at any time. This limit cannot be exceeded.

  3. You may arrive in up to 3 vehicles, but please be mindful of limited parking and avoid causing congestion.

  4. We reserve the right to refuse entry or terminate bookings if these limits are breached.

Play Equipment:

The equipment provided on the field is designed exclusively for dog use and must not be used by children or adults under any circumstances. Use of the equipment by anyone other than dogs is strictly prohibited.

The field owners accept no liability for any accidents, injuries, or damages resulting from misuse of the equipment by children or adults. Parents or guardians are solely responsible for supervising their children at all times while on site.

Any damage caused through misuse or failure to follow these guidelines will be charged to the responsible party.

Play equipment is not recommended for dogs under the age of 12 months, or up to 18 months for larger breeds, as they may not yet be fully grown and this can potentially cause harm. Use of the field or equipment by dogs under these ages is at the owner's discretion and risk. The owners of the field are not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages involving dogs using the equipment. Supervision of dogs is the sole responsibility of their owner.

CCTV Recording:

The field is monitored by CCTV for the safety and security of all users. Recordings are stored securely and may be used in the event of disputes, incidents, or security concerns.

Arrival Time:

Do not arrive before your scheduled appointment time. If you arrive early, please do not wait on the road or near the gate. Instead, wait elsewhere and return at the start of your allocated slot.

Parking and Entry:

Do not enter the car park if another person is still in the field. If someone is present during your booked time, double-check your booking and call us immediately at 07549037369.

Time Slots and Departure:

We offer 25- and 55-minute slots to allow for a 5-minute crossover between bookings. Please be punctual and ensure you leave the field by the end of your slot so the next user can enter on time.

Reactive Dogs:

For the safety of all users, some dogs using the field may be reactive. Do not enter the car park or field if someone else is present until they have exited.

Waste Disposal:

You are responsible for cleaning up after your dog. Dog waste bins and complimentary dog poo bags are provided on-site. Please do not litter.

Field Maintenance:

Please do not allow your dog to dig holes in the field. If you notice any holes, gaps in the fence, or other issues, report them to us immediately.

Gate Security:

Ensure both gates are securely locked when you leave the field.

No Smoking Policy:

Smoking is strictly prohibited within the field.

Liability for Vehicles:

We do not assume responsibility for theft or damage to vehicles or their contents while parked on the premises.

Use of the Field at Your Own Risk:

By entering the field, you acknowledge that use of the area is at your own risk. While we take measures to maintain a safe environment, we cannot guarantee the safety of the field or the actions of other dogs and their handlers.

Conduct Towards Others:

Please be respectful and courteous to other field users, as well as our neighbours.

Barking:

Please keep barking to a minimum and do not encourage your dog to bark.

Health and Illness:

Do not attend the field if your dog has been unwell within the last 48 hours, particularly if they have experienced vomiting or diarrhoea. If your dog becomes unwell during your visit, you must report any diarrhoea or vomiting immediately so we can take appropriate cleaning measures.

Treatment of Dogs:

No heavy handling of dogs is permitted. This includes both physical and verbal mistreatment. Any observed rough or inappropriate handling may result in immediate removal and a permanent ban from the field.

Owner's Responsibility to Check the Field:

While we take all reasonable steps to ensure that the field is secure, it is the dog owner’s responsibility to inspect the field prior to unleashing their dog. You are fully responsible for your dog’s safety and behaviour at all times while using the field.

Cancellation, Refund, and Rescheduling Policy:

We reserve the right to cancel any booking at our discretion and provide a full refund or offer an alternative time slot. In such cases, we will notify you as soon as possible.

You may reschedule your appointments via Acuity Scheduling up until 24 hours before your booking. If you need to reschedule within 24 hours of your slot, please contact us directly. While we cannot guarantee a rescheduled time, we will attempt to fill your unwanted slot, and if successful, we will offer you an alternative time.

Muttnall Green Dog Field, its owners, landowners, and affiliates are not liable for any injury, illness, death, or damage to you, your dog(s), companions, or your property that arises from the use of the field, including incidents involving other dogs or third parties.

Use of Muttnall Green Dog Field by Banned Breeds

(Including XL Bullies)

We permit banned breeds, including XL Bullies, to use Muttnall Green Dog Field, provided all applicable laws, regulations, and the terms of our insurance are strictly adhered to. To ensure compliance, only one banned breed dog is permitted in the field at any one time, and users must follow the guidelines below:

You must strictly comply with all conditions outlined in your exemption under the Dangerous Dogs Act or relevant legislation. It is your responsibility to be familiar with and follow these rules at all times.

You may be required to provide a copy of your dog’s exemption certificate for insurance purposes. This documentation will be kept confidential and shared only as required by law or for insurance compliance.

Enforcement:
Failure to follow any of the above conditions will result in immediate and permanent revocation of access to the field.
